Permission Deny Error on .htaccess

Error :

[Tue Dec 01 22:01:42 2009] [crit] [client 127.0.0.1] (13)Permission denied: /home/username/public_html/.htaccess

When you get this errror, then  just run the following commands  :

find -type f -exec chmod 644 {} \;
chown usename.username  * -R

That’s all this will do it.

Client denied by server configuration

Client denied by server configuration :

Error :

[Sun Dec 07 14:04:38 2009] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] client denied by server configuration: /home/username/public_html/catalog/admin/index.php

If you get this error then you need to check the .htaccess file under the respective directory (here catalog/admin) and there you need to comment the rule “Deny from all”
Example :
<Files *.php>
Order Deny,Allow
#Deny from all
</Files>

That’s all this will do it.
